Similar to the shorter shank mullen Go Round, this bit is designed to round a horse out that tends to point a turn, and keeps him round on the back side of the turn, but also adds more control. 

This combination of the mouthpiece allows for a moist mouth, a slight bite for the horse that gets heavy on the bridle, and alleviates a potential nutcracker effect. Longer shanks offer increased leverage. Great bit for a seasoned athlete.
