This Rope Gag is made from 5/16" lariat rope, offering a responsive yet forgiving feel that enhances communication between horse and rider. The 7/16" mullen-style bar provides generous surface area for comfort across the bars of the mouth, while the 1½" port relieves palate pressure and discourages the tongue from getting over the bit. The correction-style design remains comfortable in the mouth but firms up when engaged, delivering clear and effective communication. A full-ring side design prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth, ensuring stability and consistency, while the lariat rope applies subtle poll pressure to encourage flexion and collection.
